Knocker's does the 1920's

The 1920's were a prosperous age, it was after WWI and many social and economic norms were relaxed.  People wanted to live, enjoy and thrive after the dark years of WWI and they did it in every aspect of their lives, from consumerism, music and fashion.  With this in mind, Knocker's creator Dita Lamour; has created a perfect vintage coat and matching cloche, that shows off the style of that era beautifully.
The Deco Dame coat and cloche, does not come with appliers but, I admit I fell in love with it way too much, not to show it off.  It's only 250L at the main store and more colors will be available in the near future for this wonderful outfit.
A little side note regarding the jewelry, I went to Dark Mouse to find the vintage jewelry I needed for this piece.   At Dark Mouse, I found the Vintage Victorian Locket and earrings set, for only 50L.  If you want to pick this piece up it can be found here.
Another little side note:  A big thank goes to the 1920's Berlin Project where the photo was taken.  It's an amazing sim and well worth the visit!

Enelya's Creations!

Awhile ago, one of my best shopping buddies, who is also my sister introduced me to Enelya's Creations.  First I will say I will get my revenge on her, because that created a bit of a monster in me.  Next, I will admit that I'm an addict to EC's things.  I love that she has so many versatile pieces and styles.  The fact that she also has appliers for her outfits already included in most cases, is fantastic.  Top all this, her creations are not only of amazing quality but the prices are just insanely awesomesauce!  Most of her store is priced at 100L or less with only a few items that are over that.  She includes choices!  Many pieces also include color huds, so you can choose which color you want that day and you are not stuck with just that color if you change your mind.  The quality is fantastic and I have received many compliments from the different pieces that I have worn from her store.  Instead of me gushing though, take a peek at the items I chose today to show off, you'll see for yourself!

Soul gives us some Spring

I will admit, I'm snowed out.  I have officially seen enough snow this year to last me a few years.  With that in mind, I went looking for something with more of a Spring air and feel about it.  Something that will remind me that Winter does not last forever but, that there really is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I came across the !Soul store, where everything is only 60L and appliers are available for select styles in her store.  With a nice selection, from outfits for a days shopping trip, formal occasion or just a walk on the beach, !Soul put me into a lighter mood and looking forward to warmer weather.
For the two pieces that really struck the right mood in me, I choose !Soul Mesh Dress/Peep Boots/Belt and !Soul's Mesh tube gown.  The tube gown also comes with a color change hud, so you have 3 different colors to choose from with it.  The Mesh Dress outfit came with the entire outfit, including the purse, belt and boots.  Appliers are included already in the outfits, so you won't have to buy them separately.

Hot Styles at the Hipster Fair

The Hipster Fair is in full swing now, with fashions and items from some of the most amazing designers around.  For my first visit to the fair (yes, I do intend to go a few times) I found Knocker's store.  As per her usual amazing talent, I feel in love with everything she had showing in her store and I do admit, it took me a little while to finally choose what I wanted to pick up, since I wanted it ALL!
The hipstah shorts in the funky style won out for me, since it's the one that my eyes just kept being drawn to the most.  It's a Hipster Fair exclusive, with several colors to choose from and priced at only 99L each, which does include black leggings in the package.  I paired them off with the super cute  Rough and Sweet Cardigan(appliers included), which can be found in the Bazaar area near the store for only 50L.  To finish off the look, I went with SSW Rockstar shoes which were also in the Bazaar area for only 15L.
While going through the fair, I found numerous dollarbies and gifts, the Blow up one though had me laughing, as I blew bubbles with their bubble blower.
Last but not least, I went with Knocker's Pucker up dress w/tango appliers included, pairing it up with the 9TY Dolly shoes to finish off the look.  The dress was priced at 150L and the shoes were only 25L.  While at the store, don't forget to pick up the Galaxy leggings, which are a hipster fair gift from Dita..they are colorful, fun and really cute for only 1L.

The Hipster Fair has more than 100 store of the best brands that are in SL, along with wonderful gifts in each store and gatcha machines with exclusive items made for this fair.  Located as well, in different areas; are the Bazaar areas where you will find some amazing deals by some of the different creators participating in the fair. Going Vintage

I do love the vintage looks that are available, out on the grid.  You can choose from the simple 50's look, with a straight pencil skirt and cardigan set to the more fun rockabilly look, depending on your mood.  With vintage, you can be as eclectic as you wish to be and you are never wrong in how you do it, which just makes vintage even more fun, since you make the style your own.

I'm Back!

Due to RL, I've been off for the last few months but, I'm finally back and able to blog again!  Yay!
